Microsoft Word 2007 New Features
There follows a very brief summary of the new more significant features that have been added to Microsoft Word 2007:
- New streamlined user interface
Designed to make the features of the application more accessible with fewer mouse clicks to speed up the document authoring process.
- Building Blocks
Predefined pieces of content that can be inserted into your document. Key variables like author and document title are bound to content controls. Update them in one place and all occurrences are updated automatically.
- Quick Styles
Choose a ready-made quick style, or apply the styles you've made before to stylise elements of your document. If you've created a style of your own - save it so you can use it again.
- Document Themes
Change the look and feel of your whole document quickly and easily by switching themes. Themes are fonts, colours and effects combinations.
